The most representative elements of Sant Jordi were used in order to represent such an important day in Catalunya. Love and Sant Jordi’s rose are the two symbolic elements, so they are used to illustrate the essential element of our pattern.
As Sant Jordi is the day of lovers in Catalunya, the illustration is based on the simple and symbolic shape of a heart, so putting two of them together -one right-side-up and the other upside down- the rose is formed, and if we put the same heart in the stem, we get the leaves.
